How to save a Pinterest board offline
- Open the board on pinterest.com or in the Pinterest app.
- Copy the board's link from the share menu (it looks like pinterest.com/username/board-name/).

Board size limits and what happens beyond 50 pins
The tool grabs up to 50 pins per board in one pass. If a board has more than that, the 50 most recent pins are included in the ZIP. For a board with hundreds of pins, plan on running the tool more than once against smaller sub-selections, or focus on saving the specific pins you actually want with the regular Pinterest video downloader or image downloader.
Why keep a board offline at all
Boards get reorganised, pins get deleted by the original poster, and accounts occasionally get suspended, all of which can take a curated collection with them. Saving a board offline once, as a ZIP archive on your own device or cloud storage, means the reference material, mood board, or planning collection survives even if the live board on Pinterest later changes or disappears.
Troubleshooting
- ZIP downloads but some pins are missing. Deleted, expired, or Pinterest-restricted pins are skipped automatically since there is nothing valid to fetch.
- Board link is rejected. Make sure you copied a board URL, not a single pin URL. Board links do not contain
/pin/. - It is taking a long time. Every pin is fetched in its original size, so a board of 50 large photos takes longer than a small one. Leave the tab open until it finishes.
- Private board fails. Only public boards can be read by any external tool; secret boards are not accessible.
- The ZIP will not open on my phone. Use your device's built-in Files app (iPhone) or Files by Google or your file manager (Android); both can unzip archives without a separate app.
- The ZIP is too large to download over mobile data. Switch to Wi-Fi before starting, especially for boards near the 50-pin limit: archives of 25–30 MB are normal.
